Jo Ann Todd

Jo Ann Todd, of Dothan, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at home following an extended illness. She was 51.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T.P. Martin and Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, August 20, 2009.Mrs. Todd was born in Dothan, Alabama on March 26, 1958 and spent the early years in Jacksonville, Florida and in San Diego, California but returned to Dothan in 1974. She was employed with K-mart and Cherokee IGA for several years. At the time of her illness, she was a homemaker. She loved to be on the computer and loved to shop. She was a member of Christ Church International.Survivors include her husband Joshua Todd of Dothan; a son, Joshua Todd, Jr. of Dothan; a daughter, Belinda Weaver of Dothan; her mother Betty Boutwell of Dothan; a mother-in-law Faye Todd of Napierfield; a brother Anthony Reeder and wife Christine of Dothan; two sisters, Alicia Mills of Madrid and Laura Thaxton of Dothan; two brother-in-laws, Kenneth Powell of Madrid and Bruce Todd, wife Tracy of Napierfield; a sister-in-law, Denise Jinks of Dothan; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
