(Marcelle) Joceline “Josie” Meadows (Thorez) departed this life on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Funeral services will be at 4:00p.m. on Saturday, October 5 ,2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350 with Pastor David Temples of Westwood Presbyterian Church of Dothan, AL officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends starting at 3:00p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Westwood Presbyterian Church, 5480 West Main St. Dothan, AL 36305.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Meadows. Survivors include her daughter Patricia Harford, her son-in-law Thomas Harford along with his children and grandchildren, her granddaughter Danielle Converse, her grandson-in-law Pat Converse and their children.
