John Dennis Foshee Ii

John “Dennis” Foshee II, passed away Thursday November 30, 2017 at a local hospital. He was 47.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, December 4, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 10-11 am prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Dennis was born August 21, 1970 in Clanton, Alabama where he lived the earlier years of his life. He was a 1988 graduate of Chilton County High School. Following high school Dennis was employed as a brick mason for several years and later Howell Plywood for 10 years. He moved to Dothan in 1993. Dennis was an avid Auburn fan and was thrilled about the victory over Alabama this past weekend.

Proceeded in death by his father John Foshee, Sr.

Survivors include his mother Patricia Foshee; his 2 sisters, Jannifer Foshee and Brittany Washington; his step daughter, Amber Mathis; his grandson, Semaj Frazier; his special friend Tony Dozier; a host of aunts and uncles; 6 nieces and nephews, Johari, Essence, Nikholas, Ny’Ryan, Kinley, and Kylah.
