John Michael Lee, 56, of Newton passed away Sunday May 29, 2016 at a local hospital.
John Michael was born September 11, 1959 in Tampa, Florida and he lived the early years of his life there. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1976 and graduated from Orange Park High School in 1977. John Michael was employed with Publix in the bakery department for 28 years and most recently he was employed with Daily Bread Bakery in Anniston, Alabama. He was a good old country boy who loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. John Michael was a song writer who loved playing his guitar around camp fires and other family gatherings. He was a member of Nolan Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon “Nita” Lee; his sons, Jason Paul Lee, Clayton Michael Lee and Joseph Tyler Lee; his daughters, Kathleen Michelle Dupree, Bethany Ingram, Brittany Elaine Lee, Kimberley Renee Ingram and Felica Camille Ingram; seven grandchildren; his brothers, James E. Lee and Tracey Allen Lee; his sisters, Nancy Ann Rodriguez, Martha Jeanette Davis Gloria Dean Lee and Lena Denise Reynolds; many nieces and nephews.
