John grew up in Moultrie, where he was known for his generous spirit and firm, professional demeanor. He was a straight shooter, known for his honesty and integrity. John's leadership skills were evident early on and would become a defining characteristic of his career. After a fulfilling tenure in South Georgia, John moved to Dothan in 2016, where he continued to make a significant impact on everyone he came in contact with and in his workplace as the Vice President of Food Giant's Southern Division.
John's passions extended beyond his professional life. He loved working outside and being in his barn. He enjoyed being in nature and the simple joys of life. If you needed him, you could usually find him on his lawn mower. But above all, John was a family man. He moved heaven and earth to provide for his loved ones and instilled in his children the values of salvation, kindness, and independence. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in being a Godly man.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Angela Livingston, and their children: John Vance Livingston, Thomas Frank Livingston (Haley), and Maggie Faith Livingston Hatton (Dylan). John's legacy also lives on through his beloved grandchild, Colton Livingston, who brought immense joy to his life. His loving sisters, Teresa Sheets and Missy Conner (Mitch), and brother-in-law, Chris Bridges, along with his mother-in-law, Debbie Bridges, will fondly remember John's kind heart and selfless nature. His mother, Margaret Livingston, will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Livingston, and his mother, Betty Sue Sadler.
John's life was a testament to the power of hard work and dedication. He was known for his straightforward approach and professional conduct, which earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by his commitment to his faith and family.
