John David Lynch, Jr., a highly respected and cherished member of the Dothan community, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 13, 2023, in Dothan, AL. Born on September 7, 1956, in Massachusetts, John was known for his analytical mind, his intelligence, and his handy nature.

John was a man of many talents and interests. He was a proud graduate, having earned a degree in Information Technology. Using his education and natural analytical abilities, John owned and operated his own business, providing IT services for numerous businesses in the Wiregrass Area. His work ethic and dedication were admired by all who had the pleasure of working with him.

Outside of his professional life, John had a deep love for drag racing. He enjoyed customizing his Ford Mustang and racing it at every chance.

John is survived by his children, Christopher Lynch, Mandi Lynch, and Robert Lynch, who is married to Chelsea. He was also a grandfather to Christopher Lynch, Jr., Brianna Lynch, Gavin Bednarz, Kamryn Bednarz, Hailey Lynch, Silas Snow, and Peyton Snow. John was predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Carla Lynch, whose memory he held close to his heart.

John was known for his intelligence, his analytical mind, and his handy nature. He had a knack for fixing things and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His quick wit and sharp mind made him a joy to be around, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In the words of Albert Einstein, "The measure of intelligence is the ability to change." John embodied this quote, always adapting and learning, using his intelligence to better himself and those around him. His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched, both personally and professionally.
