John David Mccullough

John David McCullough, 69 of Midland City passed away Thursday November 28, 2013 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Van Clack officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. McCullough was born February 6, 1944 in Houston County and lived most of his life in the Wiregrass area prior to moving to Midland City in 1998. He was a longtime employee of Perdue following 30 years of service in the poultry industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking out with friends and family and watching Alabama Football. Mr. McCullough was preceded in death by his son Michael McCullough, and his grand-daughter Cortney McCullough.

Survivors include his wife Sallie C. McCullough; a son Steve McCullough Deborah; a daughter Kimberly McCullough and her fiancé Paul Quick; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Pallbearers will be Paul Quick, John David McCullough, Robert Palmer, Sonny Hall, John Williford and Jeff McDaniel.
