John W. Meadows departed this life on Wednesday January 21, 2015.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350 with Pastor David Temples officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westwood Presbyterian Church, 5480 West Main St. Dothan, AL 36305.

Survivors include his wife Joceline; a daughter Patricia Tom Harford; a granddaughter, Danielle Pat Converse; and 4 great-grandchildren, Alexander, Paul, Marcus, and Beatrice Converse.
