Johnnie Williford Andrews

Johnnie Williford Andrews, a resident of Westside Terrace, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 after an extended illness. She was 91.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating and Robert Byrd of Sunset Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 300 W. Main St., Dothan, AL, 36303, Covenant Hospice, 2855 Ross Clark Cir., Dothan, AL, 36301 or your favorite charity.Mrs. Andrews was born on July 4, 1917 in Slocomb, AL and lived most of her life in Dothan. She graduated from Slocomb High School and attended Athens State University. Mrs. Andrews was employed by United Warehouse Company for a number of years and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Dothan for over 60 years.Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years James E. Andrews.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John S. and Susan Andrews of Greenville, AL, J. Eddie and Rosemary Andrews of Dothan; four grandchildren, Jeff Andrews and his wife Angie of Dothan, Cemira Powell and her husband Travis of Greenville, AL, Kit Andrews of Dothan, J. Blake Andrews of Dothan; three great-grandchildren, James and Megan Andrews, Joseph Price. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
