Joseph F. Deperro

Joseph Francis DePerro, Jr., of Albany, GA and formerly of Dothan, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA.

rnFuneral Services will be held 10 am Monday, June 20, 2011 at Mt. Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Hood officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. rnMr. Deperro was born May 29, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA and resided there until joining the U.S. Air Force in 1951. Following 20 years of service he resided in the Dothan area for 20 years prior to moving to Albany, GA 4 years ago. In addition to spending to with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Joe loved to fish, watch sporting events on television especially the Atlanta Braves, and taking road trips all around the South. rnSurvivors include his wife Rebecca DePerro of Albany, GA; sons, Joseph F. DePerro, III Cindy of Dawson, GA, and Steven DePerro of Michigan; a daughter, Deborah Dorsett William of Stapleton, AL; 11 grandchildren, Steven, Stephanie, Monica, Samantha, Chantel, Hunter, Muriel, Donna, Anthony, Jennifer, Trina, and Travis; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike DePerro, Marty DePerro Evelyn, and Richard DePerro Melanie; a brother-in-law, Roger Yates Sheila; a sister-in-law, Gail Nolan Johnny; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
