Joseph Allen Fraser

Joseph Allen Fraser of Webb, AL son of Dorothy H. Law and the late Louis C. Fraser passed away at his home September 23, 2010 at his residence. He was 57.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David King officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Rd., Dothan, AL, 36303.Mr. Fraser was born on August 5, 1953 in Ft. Benning, GA and lived the early years of his life in Columbus, GA. He was employed with the Columbus Police Department for 5 years prior to moving to Dothan in 1993 and contracted with FedEx for the past 17 years. Mr. Fraser attended the Harbor of Hope Church in Ozark, AL. He was preceded in death by his sister Debra Fraser Aenchbacher. Survivors include the mother of 2 of his children Donna Fraser and their son Joseph Bradley Fraser and daughter Jillian Paige Fraser all of Columbus, GA; the mother of a child Beth Forbis and their daughter Kristen Michelle Hickey both of Lincoln, AL; a grandson Jacob Alward of Lincoln, AL; his mother Dorothy H. Law of Webb; brothers, James David Fraser of Webb, Timothy Shawn Fraser of Webb; a sister Vicky Simmons Turner of Chattanooga, TN; nieces and nephews, Jason Scott Fraser, Nicholas Bradford King, Jamie Michelle Austin, Bobby R. Simmons, Jr., Daniel S. Simmons, D. Nichole Saunders, Angela Fraser, and Brentton Fraser. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
