Joyce Chambliss Ellison

Joyce Chambliss Ellison, 85, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama where she graduated from Ensley High School. Joyce was married to Albert Tony Ellison for 36 years. They raised four children together. She lived in many places including, Santa Clara, CA; Metlacatla, AK; Huntsville, AL; Fremont, CA; and Dothan, AL and made many friends.

She is survived by her four children, Brenda Ellison Fincher Jerry, Randall Luther Ellison Vicky of Texas, Brian Craig Ellison Chery of California, and Patricia C. Ellison Byers Dave of California; and a brother, Charles Chambliss Lois of Texas. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren all of whom were incredibly blessed by the love she shared with them.

A memorial service will be held 6 pm Thursday September 1, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park. Another memorial service will be held in California for the family and friends in California.
