Joyce Fannin Mcneil

Joyce Fannin McNeil, of Dothan died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was 85.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2009 in Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama with Johnny Keyton officiating and Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vaughn-Blumberg Center, P.O. Box 8646, Dothan, AL 36304 or Covenant Hospice, 2855 Ross Clark, Suite 110, Dothan, Alabama 36301.Mrs. McNeil was born December 18, 1923 in Jefferson County, Alabama and lived all of her life in Birmingham before moving to Dothan in 1999. She was a homemaker and the widow of John S. McNeil who died in 2008. Mrs. McNeil was a member of First Presbyterian Church.Survivors include her daughter, Jonna Dale McNeil, Dothan; her sister, Dale Jordan, Dothan; two nieces, Christy Keyton and her husband, Johnny, Dawna Jordan; a nephew, Matthew Jordan. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
