June Marie Maag

June Marie Maag, 73, a resident of Kinsey, AL passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

June was a dietitian and early in her career she ran the Senior Center in Cheboygan, Michigan and worked various jobs around the area. June adored her cats, loved gardening, antiques, life and everyone she met. She had a wonderful marriage with Joe Maag for 28 years who was the love of her life. She had a great fondness of lighthouses. She and Joe embarked on a trip to visit as many lighthouses as possible from Alabama to the Great Lakes and met up with family.

She is survived by her husband Joe Maag of 28 years; her children Marie Heist, Diana Brown, Tom Ross, and Brad Ross; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Gohl, Ben Brown, Mike Wagner, Abe Brown, Tom Ross, Tim Heist, Nate Heist, and Oryonah Ross.

June was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Preseau and mother, Ruth Preseau; brothers, Willas Preseau, Raymond Preseau, Fredrick Preseau, Thomas Preseau, Richard Preseau and Charles Preseau; and her two sons, Dennis Ross and Ron Ross.
