Justin Darrell Williams

Justin Darrell Williams, a resident of San Antonio, TX for the past 24 years went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 after a courageous year long battle with cancer. He was 50.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Min. Sharon Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009 at the funeral home.Mr. Williams was born on February 1, 1959 in Dothan, AL. He graduated from Dothan High School in 1977. Mr. Williams continued his education at Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL. After this he moved to Austin, TX and later to San Antonio. Justin enjoyed music, outdoors, working out, and riding his motorcycle. He was employed with Autozone as a manager for the past 8 years.On February 1, 2009, Darrell celebrated his 50th birthday. It was on this day he decided to give his life to Christ, knowing he had made his transition from this life worth it all. On February 25, 2009 God showed Darrell a glimpse of Heaven and he decided he was ready to go home. Thank God for Salvation.Survivors include his parents, Virginia Williams, Dothan, Rev. Willie Hattie Williams, Dothan, AL; a daughter, Kimberleigh Washington, Birmingham, AL; siblings, Sharon James Morrison, Austin, TX, Fran Charles Green, Danville, IL, Jackie Williams, Austin, TX, Melinda Williams, Dothan, AL, Ron Williams, San Antonio, TX, John Williams, Kinsey, AL, Ovetta Pierce, Enterprise, AL, and Dwight Williams, Dothan, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive.Thank you to the staff at Methodist Hospital and Vitas Hospice, both of San Antonio, Texas for all you did.
