Karen Deleon

Karen DeLeon, 53, of Dothan died Jan. 10, 2011 at a local hospital.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm on Wednesday at Sunset Funeral Home. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.Karen was born March 22, 1957 in New York City and lived there until 1988 when she relocated to Florida. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in Obstetrics at Sanford Hospital in Sanford, FL for almost 20 years until her retirement. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.Survivors include her children Dr. Jason DeLeon and his wife Tracy of Dothan, Chris DeLeon of Orlando, FL, and Steven DeLeon of Knoxville, TN; 2 grandchildren, Caden and Addi; brothers, Robbie Brau and Ralph Brau; a sister Rachel Moskoitz also survives. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
