Kartier A'Trayvuis Reeves

August 29, 2023 — July 12, 2024

Kartier A'Trayvuis Reeves, affectionately known as "Man Man" by those who loved him most, was a beacon of joy and affection in the lives of all who knew him. Born on August 29, 2023, in Dothan, he returned to his heavenly home on July 12, 2024, in the same city that witnessed his first breath. Despite his time on earth being unexpectedly short, his impact was profound and lasting.

Man Man was the cherished son of Sierra Anderson and Jeremiah Reeves. He was the precious grandson of Ronnie and Sasha Anderson, Valerie Reeves, and Kristy Nubin. His joyful presence was a gift to his siblings, Jeremiah Reeves Jr., Christaline Reeves, and Royalty Reeves, who found in him a source of endless love and happiness. Man Man also brought immense pride to his aunts and uncles, Wesley and Candice Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Tankisha Macon, Christian Stephen, Kroshunta Reeves, Parija Reeves, and Quatita Reeves; as well as several great aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.

From the moment he entered this world, Man Man was the light in every room, his bright big eyes and infectious smile warming the hearts of all who encountered him. His laughter was a melody that resonated in the memory of his loved ones, a reminder of the purest joy. He was often described as an angel on earth, his loving and friendly nature a testament to the spirit that defined him.

Man Man's interests were simple yet profound in their ability to bring people together. He loved nothing more than to be held close by those he loved, sharing in the affection that was so freely given to him. His presence was a comforting reminder of the tenderness and care that exists in the world. He relished in the opportunity to eat alongside his family, his glee at meal times a shared experience that drew his loved ones closer together.

Playing with his family was one of Man Man's favorite pastimes, a time when the spirited laughter and joy of a child's play filled the room. These moments, precious and irreplaceable, are cherished memories that will be held dear by his family for all time.

Kartier A'Trayvuis Reeves, though his time with us was brief, taught us the essence of love and the strength of family bonds. His legacy is one of love, a reminder to cherish every moment and embrace the warmth of togetherness. He was a living example of the beauty and resilience of the human spirit, and his memory will continue to inspire and guide those he leaves behind.

As we bid farewell to Man Man, we do so with heavy hearts, but also with profound gratitude for the time we were gifted with his presence. Our little angel, who so effortlessly showed us the power of a smile and the depth of a hug, will forever be remembered as a blessing in our lives.

In honoring Man Man's memory, we reflect on the words that best describe him: loving, friendly, goofy, and spirited. His spirit, a radiant light that will never dim, lives on in the hearts of his family and all who were graced by his life. He will be deeply missed, but the love he shared will continue to resonate within us, a perpetual legacy of Kartier A'Trayvuis "Man Man" Reeves, our Diamond Boi.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 pm Saturday July 20, 2024 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at Sunset Funeral Home.
