Kathleen Denise Shanas Parker, a resident of Enterprise Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 following a courageous battle with cancer in a local hospital. She was 52. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Kathleen was born on September 5, 1967 and lived her earlier years in Monroe, Louisiana. She was well educated receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Mississippi, Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Studies from John B. Stetson University and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a master's degree in Aeronautical Science. Kathleen worked for Delta Airlines and Bell Helicopter and traveled the world. She was a good friend to all who knew her and a loving and devoted Army wife. Kathleen loved the solace of the white sandy beaches and emerald waters of Okaloosa island, Sandy Beaches and Salty Kisses. She was hard core Ole Miss fan. "Hotty Toddy". And New Orleans Saints fan. "Who Dat". She is preceded in death by her father, Peter Davis. Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Joseph D Parker; her mother, Charlene Frieda Davis; and a clowder of furbabies. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
