Katina Reeves

April 5, 1973 — September 9, 2021

Katina Reeves was a strong, courageous, and loving person. Her family and friends affectionately called her Tina . Tina always wore a big smile that could brighten any room. On September 9th, 2021, Tina answered the Master's call and gained her wings.

She was born to the late Johnny Reeves and Ruffin "R.L." Reeves on April 5th, 1973. At an early age, Tina accepted our Lord and Savior into her heart, and was baptized at Old Friendship Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the church, and served as the secretary.

Tina graduated from Abbeville High School in 1991. She continued her education at Wallace Community College (formerly known as Sparks Campus) in 1997 where she pursued Nursing. Tina began her nursing career at the office of Dr. Moses Jones in Eufaula, AL as a nursing assistant. Although Tina pursued nursing as her career, she later found that following in her mother's footsteps to educate was where she belonged. She discovered her love for children and a passion to teach. She then began her journey at Randolph Clay High School as a Special Educator. Tina changed her focus to child development and worked with children from Pre-K to Kindergarten until she was no longer able to work.

Tina was preceded in death by her loving mother, Ruffin "R.L" Reeves. She is survived by her devoted and loving brother, Cornell Reeves (Burlington, WA). Half siblings: Gwen Reeves, Sheila Reeves, and Rodney Reeves, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her beloved family and friends. Tina touched so many lives in a unique way, and she will greatly be missed.
