Keith F. Aldrich, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his residence. He was 79. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Martha Sue Traylor officiating and Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mr. Aldrich was born on December 31, 1938 in Springfield, Massachusetts and lived there the early years of his life. He served in the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Rucker. Mr. Aldrich was employed with Hayes International in the supply division. He later worked with PEMCO as an accountant for several years until his retirement at age 63. Mr. Aldrich was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, he enjoyed taking care of his family, especially spoiling his wife, and he loved working in his yard. Mr. Aldrich was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Frances Aldrich, by his brother, Jerry Aldrich, and by his son, Terry Battle. Survivors include his loving wife, Eloise Aldrich; his son, Steve (Shirley) Battle; his daughter, Connie Goodson; his grandchildren, Erica (Kameron) Greathouse, Halie (Micheal) Walding, Jeffery (Shannon) Battle, Stephanie (Jay) Dean; his great-grandchildren, Shaylee and Presley Greathouse, Madilyn Walding, Colby and Abby Battle, and Jace and Jayden Dean; his 2 sisters, June Germaine and Bette Pike; and several nieces and nephews. Burial Date May 30, 2018 Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Martha Sue Traylor officiating and Robert Byrd directing.
