Keith Allen Gallman, 53, a resident of Wicksburg, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his residence lovingly surrounded by his family following an extended battle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11am in St. Columba Catholic Church with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. There will be a wake service held Friday evening at 5pm – 8pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
Keith was born November 15, 1962 in Berwyn, Illinois and he lived the early years of his life in Bridgeview, Illinois. He was a 1980 graduate of Argo High School. Keith was employed with the City of Chicago as a machinist and resided there until moving to Dothan in 1993. Keith was an entrepreneur, and wasn’t afraid of any challenge. He owned and operated several Mexican cuisine restaurants including Maya Mexican in Dothan, Poco Loco in Daleville, Wrap and Roll. He also had his real estate license for 12 years, becoming one of the top ten realtors in the Dothan area. Keith loved to sing, play tennis, swim, and listening to music. He was an active member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Light of the World Study Group, and served as a cook for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner.
Survivors include his wife, Xiomara Gallman; his sons, Zachary Gallman and Caleb Gallman; his parents, Johnnie and John Gallman; his brother, Sean Gallman; his sisters, Terry Gallman and Tracey Heine; several nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Oscar H. Amaya and his brother-in-law, Cecilio Leyva.
