Kenneth Wayne Clark

Kenneth Wayne Clark, 59, of Dothan passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Gulf Coast Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Nordstrom officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ken worked in nursing for many years, 15 of them in ICU at Flower's Hospital. Ken enjoyed people and had the gift of sharing humor with both his patients and family to brighten their days. He was a beloved husband, and cherished as a special father, grandfather, brother and a best friend to all. He loved animals and adopted several from the Humane Society. He was an avid Alabama fan and in his memory the family will be wearing University of Alabama colors.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Faye Clark, parents; Carey A. and Patrice Rice Clark; grandparents Myrtle Edwards Clark and Buford A. Clark, and Joseph L. and Frances Alvira Rice.

Survivors include his beloved wife Debra Clark and children, James, Kellie and Scott; grandchildren, Ayden and Angel; sisters, Donna Mike McCroan of Crawford, AL, Melissa Casper of Ashford, AL and JoAnne Lynn Stacy Stewart of Pansey, AL; brothers, Dale Cindi Clark of Wicksburg, AL, John Linda Clark of Slocomb, AL, Carey Angie Clark of Social Circle, GA; nieces Michelle, Shane, Kaci, Megan, Jennifer, Jessie and Taylor; nephews Chris and Austin; and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
