Kenny was born on September 24, 1946 to Jeff and Inez Givens. He lived in Houston County all his life. Kenny always committed his whole heart to anything he ever started, whether it be the Volunteer Fire Department or service to his community. As much as these things meant to him, nothing was more important to him than his love for Christ and his commitment to being a Soul winner and Sunday School teacher. His stroke 9 years ago took away his speech and restricted him in many ways, but his Godly example has always shown through in many other ways.

Kenny loved his family and was a loving husband, father, Paw Paw, brother, and a great friend to many. He leaves his legacy with his family: his wife of 55 years, Becky; his children, Kyle, Kenna, Karl (Tamara), and Kameron Givens; his grandchildren, Paige Givens, Kayla Gannon, Maddox, Riley, and Sydney Claire Givens; his sister, Jeanie (Nikki) Crockett; his brother, Danny (Anita) Givens; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Maddox and Riley Givens, Jimmy Parker, Jerry Coskrey, Bert Woodham, and Joe Cobb. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Nikki Crockett and Mike Brackin.

Paw was Blessed to have as his caregiver, Paige Givens and his sidekick Koda. They brightened his days and brought laughter to his life.
