LaKeebie Dywonna Taylor, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 5-7 pm. Ms. Taylor was born on September 1, 1972 in Dothan, Alabama to Donald and Shirley Taylor. She graduated from Northview High school. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Taylor; her aunts, Willie Mae McKay, Lillie Mae Taylor, Jamie Young, Darlene Freeman, Tunisia Ardis, Geraldine Culver and Marie Patterson; uncles, Claude Taylor, Jr., John Taylor, and Augusta Taylor; grandmother, Virginia Durr. LaKeebie leaves to cherish over her precious memories, mother Shirley Taylor of Dothan, Alabama; Several aunts, Arlene Freeman, Sylvia Sprueil, Linda Robinson, Inez Culver, Lisa Copeland (Robert) ,Wanda Durr, Clarice Freeman-Parker, Mary Pride (William), Alison Houston (Chuck), Lula Snell, Annie Mae Nynn; Uncles, Clarence Young, Kenneth Freeman, Terrance Freeman, Bob Taylor and Gregory Durr; brother, Maurice Durr; special friend, Barbara Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Ms. Barbie Nelson of Friend Choir, Ms. Angie Lowe of the Department of Leisure Service, The Vaughn-Blumberg Center, Alacare Home Health and Hospice in Dothan, Health Action in Dothan, Dr. Jeremiah Maddox of Southern Bone and Joint Dothan and Dr. Mary Pippin of First Med Dothan.
