Laura Walding Dudley

Laura Walding Dudley of Dothan passed away Thursday September 23, 2010 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 60.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm Monday, September 27, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Walsingham officiating. Burial will follow in Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. rnMrs. Dudley was born August 9, 1950 in Graceville, FL and lived the early years of her life in Dothan. She was employed with Mikie Walding Realty for several years and later with Southtrust Bank in Midland City. She worked at Turtle Lake Apartments in Panama City, FL prior to working at Rock Creek Apartments in Dothan as the manager until her retirement in 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents Benny and Carolyn Spears and her sister Linda Floyd. Survivors include her son Kenny Walding, Jr. and his fiancé Sherri Stant of Dothan; a grandchild Justin Tyler Walding; a great-grandchild Bracken David Walding; several cousins including Sandra Robinson, Barbara Bass and Mary Woods Hibbs,; a special friend Cheryl Driskell; a faithful canine companion “Little Man Dudley.” Burial Date: January 1, 1970
