Leonard E. Hubbard of Pansey passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010 at his residence. He was 62.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall on Brannon Stand Road with Marvin Ishler officiating.Mr. Hubbard was born on February 6, 1948 in Houston County and has lived here most of his life. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the U. S. Army. Mr. Hubbard was a welder and pipe fitter for over 30 years in the commercial construction industry. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended the Westside Congregation.Survivors include his wife Martha Hubbard, Pansey; his sons, Gene Hubbard, and Alex Hubbard, both of Decatur, AL; his step-son, Rusty Sessions, Mobile, AL; his daughters, Selina McKay and her husband Allen, Decatur, AL and Merritt Hubbard, Luverne, AL; his step-daughter, Rebecca Beck and her husband Ken, Atlanta, GA; his 11 grandchildren; his 3 great-grandchildren; his mother, Blondell Hubbard, Wicksburg, AL; his brothers, Leonard Cliffton Hubbard, Mobile, AL, Phillip Hubbard of Panama City, FL and Glen Hubbard, Wicksburg, AL; his sister, Betty Hubbard, Wicksburg, AL; his several cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
