Lequinton Dontae' Porter

LeQuinton Dontae’ Porter, a resident of Headland, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at a local hospital. He was 21.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11 am in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hal Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 pm on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Quinton was born on May 15, 1996 in Dothan and lived in Abbeville, Eufaula, Headland and Dothan all his life. He attended Eufaula High School. When he was younger, he loved to fish. Quinton was a very talented musician who enjoyed creating beats and rap music. He loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Brinson Tennille; and his uncles, Frank Porter, Earnest Daniel Porter, Edward Porter and Donald Porter.

Survivors include his father, Earnest (Demetrice) Porter; his step-father, James Tenille; his brothers, Devin Porter, Tevin (Anastasia) Porter, JaQuan Tennille and Maalik Austin; his sisters, Meghin Salter, Samorah Porter, Monacious Austin, and Meshierra Austin; aunts and uncles, Claudia (James) Lynn, Carolyn Porter Brown, Annie Porter, William (Patricia) Porter, Bobby (Phyllis) Porter, Timothy (Francina) Weems, Stoney (Michelle) Brinson and Sharon Brown; 3 nieces and 4 nephews; a special first cousin, Alnisia Reeves; a special step-sister, Shukriyyah Jones and a host of special friends and first cousins.
