Leslie Bunch Penniman

Leslie Bunch Penniman, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020. She was 73. Private interment services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Penniman was born on November 12, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas and lived the early years of her life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a 1965 graduate of Will Rogers High School and attended University of Oklahoma. Leslie resided in Titusville, Florida and moved to Dothan in 1980. She was employed with Ashford Town Hall and Taylor City Hall before she retired in 2005. Mrs. Penniman had a great sense of humor and loved animals, especially Tico and Marisol, her Chihuahuas. She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Terri DuBose; her grandchildren, Quinn Margaret DuBose and Brewer Thomas DuBose; her sister, Mary B. Greenwood; her nephew, Robert Wheeler; and her special friend, Susan Keeley. Private interment services will be held at a later date.
