Linda Sue Clark

August 7, 1940 — February 13, 2019

Linda Sue Clark, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Flowers Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 78 years old. Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Stuart Tullis officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Linda was born on August 7, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to Harold and Clara Sanders. She graduated Orange County College with an Associates degree in Accounting. Linda married her sweetheart, William Clark, in 1959 and was a wonderful and devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers, traveling, water aerobics and trying out the different local cuisine. Her truest passion was spending time with her family, which included her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda was a devoted member of the Honeysuckle Road Congregation and faithful servant of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Clara; sisters, Nancy Biggers and Frances Bradford (of California); and great-grandson, Kent Clark. She is survived by her husband, William Clark; children, Tracey and Daryl McDaniel, Paul Clark and Marti Renojo; grandchildren, Alexander and Stephanie MacKenzie, Amber and Daniel Taylor (of Washington), Tyler Clark, Dean and Sarah Clark and Erin Renojo; great-grandchildren, Boston and Emmalyn MacKenzie and Addison and Amelia Taylor (of Washington). Burial Date February 16, 2019 Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Stuart Tullis officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
