Linda Jean Etheridge

Linda Jean Etheridge, a resident of Ashford passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at her residence. She was 59.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Etheridge officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.Mrs. Etheridge was born on December 25, 1950 in Buna, TX and lived the early years of her life there. She resided in Daphne, AL prior to moving to Ashford in 1995 where she was employed with the City of Ashford as a dispatcher until the time of her illness.Survivors include her husband, Larry Etheridge of Ashford; her daughters, Melissa Richardson and her husband Donnie of Columbia, Amanda Powers and her husband Jonathan of Cottonwood, Jessica Downing and her husband Jerry of Mayport, FL; a step-son Rusty Fondren of Homer, LZ; 6 grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Joseph Richardson, Zachary Richardson, Jamie Powers, Logan Powers, Jolie Downing; a step-granddaughter Cynthia Fondren; brothers, William McCarty and his wife Alice of Texas, Roger Dale McCarty and his wife Ruby of Texas; sisters, Karen Ford and her husband Tony of Texas, Donna Miller and her husband John of Texas, Pansey Leavens and her husband James of Louisiana; several nieces and nephews also survive.
