Lisa Mckenzie Whiddon

Lisa McKenzie Whiddon, of Cottonwood, passed away Thursday January 31, 2019 at her residence. She was 61. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Sunset Funeral home Chapel. Lisa was born May 15, 1957 in Frostproof, FL, moved to Dothan and lived here the early years of her life. She was employed with Efurd's Grocery Store for many years. Mrs. Whiddon enjoyed dancing, music, and going camping with friends and family. She loved animals, good food, family, and all her Facebook friends. Mrs. Whiddon was preceded in death by her parents, Ephraim Allen McKenzie and Polly Imogene Henderson. Survivors include her son, Justin (Kala) Whiddon; her daughters, Jessica Whiddon and Heather Whiddon; her grandchildren, Haisten, Kenadie, Memphis, Jessa-Jo, Penelope, Remington, Amelia, Phoenix, McKynlee, and LakeLynn; her brothers, Tommy (Joyce) McKenzie and Barry (Anisa) McKenzie; her sisters, Mary Alice Heath, Toni (Allen) Alphord, and Paula (Gilbert) Wommack; her longtime companion, Walter Crawford; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Sunset Funeral home Chapel.
