Lloyd Mcentire

Lloyd McEntire, 83 a resident of Dothan passed away Friday November 27, 2015 at his home.

Military honors will be performed at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Mr. McEntire was born February 19, 1932 in Oklahoma and he was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United State Navy.  Mr. McEntire was later employed with Beechcraft for 40 years as a computer aircraft technician until his retirement. Mr. McEntire resided in Kansas before moving to Dothan in 2001. He was an ordain minister since the mid 1970’s and attended Christ Church International and Victory Family Church. He was a member of CMA, Christian Motorcyclists Association.

Survivors include his wife, Connie McEntire; four daughters, Lori Egger, Lisa Smith, Carol Petty and Shanna McClure; four grandchildren; three step-daughers, Darcy Peoples, Jackie Williams, Cynthia Conard; and one step-son, Lawrence Peoples.
