Lou Arthur Green, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Flowers Hospital. He was 52.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 19, 2009 in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7pm on Friday, September 18, 2009.Mr. Green was born on November 25, 1956 in Barbour County and lived in Dothan most of his life. He was a truck driver with Lane Trucking, Northstar, and George Green Trucking. Mr. Green was a member of the Alabama Avenue Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, President of the Laymen Department and Choir, and was a Counselor for the Crusader Department.Survivors include his 2 sons, Robert Green and his wife Catina of Atlanta, GA, and Kendrick Huspeth of Dothan; his six daughters, Patrice Godfrey and her husband Anthony of Fairhope, AL, Marcia Crankfield and her husband Jackie of Bainbridge, GA, LaQuay Moore of Tampa, FL, Candice Marshall of Atlanta, GA, Ashley Bradley of Dothan, AL, and Ciara Green of Atlanta, GA; his 13 grandchildren; his mother, Lucille Austin of Headland, AL; his two brothers, Bobby Greene of Dothan, AL and Benjamin Green, Jr. of Dothan, AL; and his sister, Violet Green of Dothan, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
