After their marriage in November of 1957, she began traveling with her husband during his career with GTE and raising their four wonderful children before finding their home here in Dothan, AL in 1969. Lou loved spending time with her family, serving the church and her community. Lou loved to cook and nothing pleased her more than sitting around a table with the people she loved the most. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, playing Bridge, and being part of numerous organizations, such as Dothan Service League, Parent Teacher Organizations, garden clubs, and supper clubs. Lou was a devoted parishioner of Saint Columba Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kerry Entz, and a sister-in-law, Eileen Schilling.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Lorraine) Entz, Linda (Mike) Campbell, Steve (Annette) Entz, and Doug Entz; six wonderful grandchildren, Kristin (Andy) Johnston, Michael Entz, Brett Entz, Nancy (Charlie) Leech, Brittany Entz, Avery Entz; three great grandchildren, Conley Johnston, Parker Johnston, and Colton Leech; her two brothers, Dave Gilliland and Bill Gilliland; her sister, Betty Yost; and several nieces and nephews.
