A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-2 pm.
She moved to Dothan at an early age where she joined the late Chester Vickers in Holy Matrimony for 55 years. Louise worked at Adams Inn for many years after her retirement she became employed at Gran's Retirement Home until she became ill.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Vickers and her three brothers, and her sister.
Louise leaves to cherish her memories to her five children, Ruby (Marshall) Potter, Earnest (Sylbrina) Vickers, Jonathan (Eleanor) Vickers, Kimberly Thomas, and Roshawn Vickers of Dothan; her brother, Robert Jr. Jackson; her sisters, Mary, Daisy, Shelia Jackson; her 15 grandchildren, Quintina, Damon, Sylbria, Whitney, Jatavious, Sienna, Quianna, Tyjawon, Kimbella, MaZyiah, Kierstyn, Kiermari, Ki'Lyric, and Roshawn, Jr.; her three great-grandchildren, Savyon, Domani, and Amari; her three sisters-in-law, Minnie (Charles), Shirley Patterson, and Gertrude Myhand; her three brothers-in-law, James Vickers, Billy Vickers, and Lewis (Antoinette) Vickers; one great aunt, Minnie Pearl McCray; a special cousins, Queen Jackson and Thelma Owens; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends also survive.
