Lucille S. Johnson Lee, a resident of Dothan passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Flowers Hospital. She was 82.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010 at New Beginning Church with Rev. Stan Cook and Rev. Jerry Hood officiating. Graveside services will follow in Zion Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.Mrs. Lee was born on August 4, 1927 in Opp, Alabama and lived there the early years of her life. She resided in Opp prior to moving to Dothan in 1961. Mrs. Lee was a homemaker and a widow of Fred Vance Johnson and Clarence E. Lee. She was a lifelong member and served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary with Chapter 3073 of the VFW. Mrs. Lee was also a member of New Beginnings Church.She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Pearl Stewart and her son Bobby Fred Johnson; two brothers and two sisters.Survivors include her children, Shirley L. Boyett, Phillip Vance Johnson and his wife Teresa, Sheila Faye Benefield, all of Dothan, Diane Paramore, Loxley, Alabama, Curtis Paul Johnson, Destin, Florida; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Johnson; her grandchildren, Angie Llewelyn, Cynthia Griffin, Vance Boyett, Scott Johnson, Gina Crowley, Nicholas Paramore, Freddie Jackson, Braden Johnson, Adria Johnson; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and sisters, James “Bo” Stewart, Opp, Keneth D. Stewart, Level Plains, Sybile Brooks, Opp and Jeanette McCall, Elmore; several nieces and nephews.Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Scott Johnson, Vance Boyett, Nicholas Paramore, Freddie Jackson and Braden Johnson, and her grandson-in-law Wes Crowley. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons, Justyn Jackson, Hunter Benefield, Chase Paramore, Alex Griffin and Derrick Griffin. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
