Lucy Philips

Lucy Phillips, 80, of Ozark passed away Sunday October 28, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harold Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 - 2 pm Tuesday. Mrs. Phillips was born March 7, 1938 in Henry County and resided the early years of her life in the Echo and Newville community. Mrs. Phillips lived in the Post Oak Community for 30 years and she resided in Ozark for the past 29 years. Mrs. Phillips really enjoyed cooking and having meals with her family. She loved gardening and raising flowers. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Church of God of Ozark. Survivors include her husband of 29 years, John Ed Phillips; her daughter, Vicky Sanders; her step-son, Donnie (Marsha) Anderson; her 3 grandchildren, Kimberly (Jason) Watson, Brian Lomanack, and Tyler Anderson; her 1 great-grandchild, Roy Watson; several nieces and nephews.
