Luler Mae Garrison

Luler Mae Garrison, 85, of Dothan died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at a local hospital.

rnFuneral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home with Brother Tom Littleton and Brother Tommy Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. rnMrs. Garrison was born May 8, 1926 in Troy, AL and lived the early years of her life there. She moved to Dothan in 1965 and was a homemaker and one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was the widow of Herman Garrison, Sr. rnSurvivors include her sons, Herman Garrison of Dothan, Willie Garrison Ruthie of Troy, and Omar Garrison of Dothan; daughters, Pearletha Bigham of Dothan, Louise Finn of Dothan, and Ellie Smith of Dothan; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister Easer Dell Smith of Troy; a host of nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
