Lynda Tolar

Lynda Tolar, a resident of Gordon, AL passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Signature Healthcare of North Florida. She was 79.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Gordon Baptist Church with Rev. Buford Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.Mrs. Tolar was born on January 29, 1930 in Houston County and lived the early years of her life in Gordon. She resided in Pansey for most of her life and was employed with Wextex for 41 years and with Sony for 10 years. She was a member of the Gordon Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband of 58 years Carl Tolar of Pansey; a son Carl Tolar Jr. of Pansey; a daughter Denise Brady and her husband Joe of Pansey; grandchildren, Hannah Hutto and her husband Martin of Pansey, Jennifer Brady of Pansey, Joe Brady Jr. of Dothan; great-grandchildren, Anna and Ella Hutto of Pansey; several nieces and nephews. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
