Marcus Belsher

Marcus Derwood Belsher of Dothan, Alabama passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his home. Marcus was born August 22, 1974; the son of Wanda Belsher and the late Bill Belsher. Marcus was a graduate of Wicksburg High School and continued his education at Wallace College where he received his Associates Degree. He then went to University of South Alabama where he received his BS degree. He furthered his education by attending Appalachian State where he received a degree in microeconomics. Marcus then came back home and finished his education at Troy State where he received his BSN degree. He loved nature; Marcus enjoyed snorkeling in Belize and snowboarding when he resided in Denver, Colorado. He also liked to take hikes with his K-9 companion, Conner. He was preceded in death by his sister Kim Culpepper and nephew Johnathan Culpepper. Survivors include his mother Wanda Belsher; sister Brittney Belsher Henderson of Dothan and Bret Belsher of Texas.
