Margaret L. Lewis

Margaret Louverne Lewis, a resident of Dothan passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Wesley Manor. She was 77.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garner Wood and Rev. Mark McCraney officiating. Burial will follow in Pansey Church of Christ Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Mrs. Lewis was born on October 25, 1932 in Houston County and resided in Gordon most of her life. She was a homemaker and the widow of Buck Lewis who died in 2009. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Gordon Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters Melinda Jane Anderson and her husband Ron of Gordon, Jean White McCraney and her husband Ronnie of Decatur; 4 grandchildren, Dennis Allen Schultz, Autumn Lee Ducker, Mark McCraney, Lori McCraney; 4 great-grandchildren, Brittany Wilbanks, Brandon Wilbanks, Ethan McCraney, Lucas McCraney; brothers, Paul Jordan of Gonzales, TX, Irby Jordan of Cottonwood; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
