Margarita Rivera Coody

Margarita Rivera Coody, 74, of Pinckard, Alabama passed away peacefully at her home on Christmas night, December 25, 2021.

Margarita was born on September 9, 1947 in Puerto Rico. She met a guitarist, Joseph B. Coody, during a bible study and shortly after they were married in 2001. She will be remembered as a very loving and caring wife; and a humble, modest woman. She was always up for an adventure, never saying no to a trip. Before her passing she went on a 1-month road trip around the Western American States seeing such landmarks as the tall Redwood Tress of California, Crater Lake in Oregon, Zion National Park in Utah, and Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

Surviving Margarita in life are her husband, Joseph B. Coody; son, Michael Erasquin; and daughter Yvette Gaston.
