Margherite Wilson Williams, 72, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her residence.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Miriam Fuduccia officiating and Robert Byrd directing.
Margherite was born November 15, 1942 in New York and lived most of her early years there and in New Jersey and Boston. She attended Boston University for 2 years and received her B.S. and Masters Degrees in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She was employed as a technical writer for her entire career with numerous companies including Martin Marietta, Siemens, and Scott Paper. She retired to Dothan 6 years ago after living all across the country during her working life. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed beading and creating jewelry, and loved camping, exploring and bird watching. She was affiliated with N.A.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Rosenberg; her son, Jacob Rosenberg Samantha; her grandchildren, Erika Bowers, Elesia Bowers, and James Rosenberg; a great-grandson, Tyler Wessells; her brother, Roger Williams Cheryl; her sisters, Nancy Harris John, Kathleen Williams Dorice Meyer, and Sheila Williams; her nieces, Jillian Harris Caloff and Em Williams.
