Markle Duane Withrow

Markle Duane "Mark" Withrow, 61, of Midland City passed away Friday morning surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Stonebridge Church of God, Highway 105, Ozark, AL. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 2-3:00 pm on Sunday prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL  36303.

Mark was born March 12, 1953 in New Castle, Indiana and he resided the early years of his life in Mobile, Alabama.  He moved to Ozark at the age of 13. He was a truck driver and was supervisor of the safety department for several years with M.O. Carroll until his retirement. He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Stonebridge Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie; his son, Scott Sarah; his son, Jason; his daughter, Brandy Kevin; his daughter, Buffie Keith; his 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; his mother, Louise Withrow; his sisters, Deana Ford, Lisa Chancey, Avis Kirkland, and Jeanette Peterson; his brother, David Withrow; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
