Her family moved back to Dale County, AL where she entered young adulthood and started her own family. She became the mother of 3 beautiful daughters, and several adopted children she treated as her own; all of which she was extremely proud of and never hesitated to say, "that is one of my own!" Her hobbies included: gardening in all forms, blessed by green thumb she brought the beauty of nature to her home and land and nourishment to her family through her fruit and vegetable picking and canning. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends watching Alabama football, cooking and baking, swimming and fishing, of her favorite, making crafts and playing games with her grandchildren. She enjoyed music and throughout many of her favorite activities, you'd find her singing and dancing her heart out. Mary worked in management most of her working career to include but not limited to Hardee's, Flavor House, Aladan and London ITL Group LLC. She furthered her education at Wallace College, obtaining her Certified Medical Assistant degree; in which she took great pride. Much of her CMA career was spent fulfilling her passion and calling, caring for and loving her patients and co-workers at First Med of Dothan. In 2005, she was blessed to find the love of her life, James Giles. They married in 2009, becoming on family altogether with five children and were blessed with many grandchildren and one great grandchild. They enjoyed tending their yard and home together, but most of all relaxing together at sunrise and sunset on their front porch, drinking coffee and admiring the birds that come to enjoy their flowers.
