Mary W. Hewes

Mary W. Hewes, a resident of Dothan passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Wesley Manor. She was 102 years old.

Private family services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Rev. Allie Freeman and Dr. Jim Sanders officiating and Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Dothan, 1380 West Main St., Dothan, AL, 36303.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nathan Clark and Rose Lee Wroten, her husband Willis Donald "Rip" Hewes and her daughter Mary Don Hewes Heisler.

Surviving family include her son Bobby Hewes Susan; her grandsons, Brett Heisler Donna, Robert Hewes Leigh Ann, Whit Hewes Cori and Joel Hewes Lacy; great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Garrett Heisler, Katherine Mele, Jonathan Mele, Mary Mac, Mollie, Branham, Henry, Aurie Anne, Joel Jr., Gray Crawford and Wells Hewes.
