Mary Jane Ward

Mary Jane Ward, a resident of Geneva passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009 at her residence. She was 56.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Esto Community Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park.

Mrs. Ward was born on October 1, 1952 in Esto, FL and resided the early years of her life in Holmes County, FL. She was a homemaker and resided in Geneva, AL for the past 34 years.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her parents Delmer Whitehead and Nettie Pearl Whitehead.

Survivors include her husband George Elias Ward of Geneva; a son Gary Ward and his wife Jennifer of Geneva; grandchildren, Maria Pruett, Garrett Ward, Elias Ward, Gunner Ward; great grandchildren, Gianna Douglas, William Douglas, Holden Pruett; sisters, Mary Ann Munoz and her husband Joe of Esto, FL, Margaret Hendrix of Hartford, AL; several nieces and nephews.
