Maxine Kelly

Maxine Clark Kelly, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at her residence. She was 81. Funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, PO Box 1045, Dothan, AL 36302. Maxine was born on June 12, 1938 in Slocomb, AL to Jessie and Drusie Clark. She was a 1956 graduate of Slocomb High School. After graduating from high school, she began her career with GTE and worked until she retired in 1990. For the last 10 years, she loved spending time with her K9 companion, Tawnie. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Drusie Clark; and her brother, Bill Clark, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Robert (Megan) Kelly, Jr. and Frank (Nikki) Kelly; her grandchildren, Brandon Kelly and Liberty Kelly; and a niece, Debbie (Moody) Faulk.
