Maxine P. Mcintyre

Maxine P. McIntyre, a resident of Newton, AL passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 after a short illness. She was 91 years old.

A private family graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Pinckard Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Chris Woodall officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pinckard Baptist Church, PO Box 188, Pinckard, AL 36371.

Maxine was born on January 26, 1929 to Clifton and Flora (Garner) Parrish. She grew up in Dale County, but lived in Houston County the majority of her life. Maxine worked for Ted's Jewelers for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her six living siblings and loved her grandchildren. Maxine was a devoted member of the Pinckard Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Flora Parrish; and her husband, William McIntyre.

Left to cherish memories of Maxine are her daughter, Kaye (DeWayne) Buckelew; her grandchildren, Brent (Kari Fugett) Buckelew, Chase Buckelew and Lynsey (Carl Maguire) Buckelew; her siblings, Frances Richardson, Martha Tidwell, Grace Elmore, James (Judy) Parrish, Jerry (Sandra) Parrish and Dan (Sherri) Parrish.
