Michael Jonsy Jones

Michael Lee “Jonsy” Jones, 38, of Ozark passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

rnFuneral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Smith and Pastor Lyle Peluso officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8pm on Tuesday. rnMichael was born on December 23, 1972 in Houston, Texas and lived there the early years of his life. He moved to Dothan in 2000 and was an electrician for the past 20 years. At the time of his death he was employed with Higgins Electric. Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing. He spent most of his free time doing for others. He was a member of Vineyard Church. rnMichael was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Cheryl Jones. rnSurvivors include his wife, Jeanne Jones; his children, Stephanie, Jayme, and Jim; his grandchildren, C.J., Courtney, Austin, Blake, and Savannah; his father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Shirley Peterman; his brother, Steven Jones and his wife Leah and their child, Ella; several nieces and nephews also survive.
